The Archbishop Shaw High School yearbook, The Talon, is an annual production by Shaw's Publications class.
The Talon is a compilation of the year's happenings, including everything from sporting events to class projects. The Publications class strives to create a book full of memories through photographing and reporting on these events.
Work on The Talon typically begins in the second semester and is completed before school's end. The Publications class is open to 10-12 graders who receive approval from the class's moderator. Students who wish to participate in the class will be required to use their skills to interview others, write articles, take photos, and manipulate graphics. The Publications class currently consists of 14 juniors and seniors and is moderated by Ms. Jennifer Buuck. This year's Editor-In-Chief for The Talon is junior Brandon Jacobs.
