Eligible students at Archbishop
Shaw High School can potentially earn up to 21 hours of college credit while in high school. Archbishop Shaw High
School offers College Level and Advanced Placement courses. Students in these classes follow a college level
syllabus and are eligible to take the AP test at the end of the course for college credit.
In addition, in conjunction with Our Lady of Holy Cross College, Archbishop Shaw High School offers
Advanced Mathematics II for college credit. This class allows the students to earn six hours of college credit.
About one fourth of the Seniors receive college credit while at Archbishop Shaw
High School.
