Archbishop Shaw High School seeks support from alumni, parents, friends, private foundations, corporations, and organizations to meet ongoing and special needs.
The Development Office of Archbishop Shaw High School is charged with the task of raising fund from all constituencies in a variety of ways. Because tuition does not cover the entire cost of providing
the Archbishop Shaw High School education, everything our young men do is made possible by the generosity of parents, alumni and friends of the school who invest in their future through Annual Giving
or a gift to a capital or endowment purpose.

| Matching Gift Programs |
Consider doubling the impact of your gift! Many companies offer matching gift programs
that match employees' gifts to educational institutions.
|
| Gifts of Stock |
Publicly traded securities are the most common form of non-cash charitable gift asset. The most
favorable tax treatment is generated by gifts of appreciated, long-term, capital-gain securities. Generally, the value of your charitable deduction will be equal to the average
of the highest and lowest selling prices of the stock on the date the gift is completed. For purposes of calculating your charitable deduction for gifts of stock, you should
contact your tax or financial advisor.
|
| Gifts-in-kind |
Gifts-in-kind are "non-cash" donations of materials or items such as printing, decorations for special
events, paper products for events, food donations, and computer equipment, to name just a few. In addition, individuals are able to increase their level of participation by contributing
through their places of business.

| Annual Giving |
Annual giving is the single most important way to show your commitment to Archbishop Shaw High School and
its ideals. Catholic education is vital to raising our youth today. Tuition alone does not cover the cost of an Archbishop Shaw High School education, and Annual Giving provides an easy,
tax-deductible way to help balance the budget. It funds operating expenses, special projects, and a host of other needs. Unrestricted gifts are a vitally important part of our Annual Giving
program. The school asks the entire community - parents, alumni, parents of alumni, faculty, staff, and other friends of the school - to support the Annual Fund each year to cover the
difference between the actual cost of educating each student at Archbishop Shaw High School and the price of tuition. Any gift makes a difference, regardless of size. Several giving clubs
have been established to recognize our donors' leadership and support.

improve its campus by building a new entrance, expanding parking, adding attractive fencing around the perimeter of the campus and
constructing a two story 20 classroom building with all the updated educational extras including state-of-the-art fire protection systems,
elevator and a second floor access walkway to the administrative building and science/math/fine arts wing.

Archbishop Shaw High School is fortunate to have achieved
successful results from the "Educating Young Men…Building for the Future" Capital Campaign. As we observe the completion of
"All Saints Hall" and look to the future, we realize there is a wave of enthusiasm spurred by the completion of the academic building
and ask you to respond again or get involved with the challenging goals that lie ahead. With your help, interest, and generosity, the
